Admissions & Registration

What you need to do to enroll:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Complete a CLTC application for admission
  • All candidates must register with and be approved by the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy.
  • Take the COMPASS exam at a cost of $20 or provide ACT scores meeting minimum score requirements.
  • Compass tests are given each Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. and Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the Ferriday Campus. Compass tests may also be taken at the CLTC Alexandria Campus. Compass study guides are available at no cost.
  • Successfully pass a statewide criminal background check as required by the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy.
