Learning Center Spring ‘11 schedules of classes announced

With ten colleges and universities offering a range of educational opportunities, the Learning Center for Rapides Parish and its partner institutions can help central Louisiana residents achieve their academic goals.

The Learning Center provides more college choices close to home on England Airpark. A listing of all courses and programs is available at www.TheLCRP.net.

Basic college courses and one-year certificate programs, as well as two-year, four-year, and graduate degrees are available for residents of central Louisiana through the Learning Center.

Each institution sets its own deadlines for applying for admissions, and each institution has different criteria for admissions. Prospective students can find contact information for each of the institutions and/or programs by visiting the Learning Center’s Web site.

The Learning Center for Rapides Parish, the only one of its kind in the state of Louisiana, is a consortium of colleges and universities that exists to ensure the provision of a comprehensive offering of college courses and programs in a cost-effective manner.
