LCRP Web Print
Web Print is a solution to manage the growing need for printing from student and guest laptops and wireless devices. Web Print enables printing from user-owned devices without installing printer drivers and managing authentication. Web Print allows users to upload common document formats via a simple web interface, and print the document to LCRP printers.
At this time, only Microsoft Word (doc, docx, etc), Microsoft
PowerPoint (ppt, pptx, etc), Microsoft Excel (xls, xlsx, etc), and Adobe
Acrobat (pdf) file types are supported.
Also note there is a charge of 10 cents per page for all documents
printed.
No client software or drivers are required. Simply follow these easy steps:
1. Access the Web Print web site
The Web Print web site is only accessible by devices connected to the LCRP wireless network.
Log in to the LCRP Web Print web site at http://lcrpvs02.campus.local:9191.

Use "student" as both the username and password.
Click the Web Print link in the navigation menu.

Click Submit a Job to start the Web Print wizard.

2. Select a Printer
The next step is selecting a printer. This is the printer that the uploaded document will print to. Currently, all uploaded documents will print to the printer in the LCRP's main office.

Choose "lcrpvs02\Checkout Printer" and click the Print Options and Account Selection button.
3. Choose Print Options
The only option available at this time is to set the number of copies.

Enter the number of copies you wish, then click the Upload Document button.
4. Upload the Document
Click the "Browse" button and select the document you would like to print.

Once a document has been selected, click the Upload & Complete

When the document upload is complete, the status of the document will be displayed. The total number of pages and the cost will be displayed as well.

Note: Your document will not be physically printed until paid for at the LCRP main office. Your document will remain in the queue for 1 hour. At that point it will be automatically deleted and you will have to repeat the process to print your document.
5. Pay for and Retrieve the Document
Go to the window at the LCRP office and state that you need to pick up a printed document. You must pay for the printing charges before LCRP staff can authorize the document to print. To locate your document in the queue, you may be asked for the document title, number of pages, computer name, or other identifying information.
